Blinded by the White

For today’s Look PLUS, I couldn’t resist sporting the almighty white blazer.

If you look at a lot of celebrity fashion pics like I do, then you’ve already realized that every single one of them has a white blazer in their wardrobe. Not only that, but apparently the popular pairing is with a white blouse and denim.

Well, you know what they say….If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…just copy it.

(Okay, I might’ve added that last bit.)

Seriously though, it’s a pretty classy look, right?

The more I style these Look PLUS outfits, the more I’m convinced that Plus-sized retailers really are killin’ it when it comes to giving us “big girls” what we want.

Are they perfect? Of course not. But color me impressed that when I want to emulate the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Chrissy Teigen (pictured above, respectively), I don’t have to search high and low for what I want. At least not most of the time.

Maybe it’s just because I’m a “glass is half full” kind of girl or maybe it’s because I know where to look but either way, with each straight-sized outfit I pin and with each successful plus-size reproduction, I get more and more excited to start my own style service and help women like me see that you don’t have to be skinny or a celebrity to look like a star!

OUTFIT DEETS:
V-neck tee is Ava & Viv from Target (on sale online!)

    1. I love those red heels too and tried to find them. If I’m not mistaken, they are Louboutins and range anywhere from 1K to 2k. NOPE. I suppose that’s they main way in which I am NOT like a celebrity (and the lack of paparazzi, fans, auditions, roles, etc.) But a girl can dream 😉

  2. I’ve always stayed away from white. And, I’m not honestly sure why. I suppose only in the last year or so have I strayed from the “socially acceptable” fat girl colors of black and brown. But, this makes me think I should give this a try. This outfit looks amazing! ❤
