First of all, NO, Dia & Co. is not sponsoring this post so YES, this will be a 100% honest review.
Second of all, in case there are those that don’t know Dia & Co., allow me to do a quick introduction.
Dia & Co. is an online clothing subscription service similar (but not identical) to the likes of Gwynnie Bee, Stitch Fix and other styling services/clothing rental websites.
About a month ago, I decided to give it a go and call it “research” for the online boutique I will be opening next year. (Smooth move, right?)
Without further ado, here are the results from my first box (in the order that I tried them on)…
Nevermind that my camera’s flash has a mind of it’s own or that my rear end looks like two pigs fighting under a blanket (please comment if you know that quote!) – here is the maroon dress from Asos.
Thought #1 – I do love maroon and I do love that cowl back and I do love the IDEA of this dress.
Thought #2- In reality, the dress was too big. Without my hands on my hips, essentially cinching the fabric, it swallowed me. (Not a feeling I’m used to, btw.) It was also a little out of the budget so I decided to send it back.
Item number two was this jumpsuit from Modamix, which fit very near to perfect.
Thought #1 – I’ve never heard of Modamix. I will be checking out their website momentarily.
Thought #2 – Eeeek – just saw the price ($119.00). Aaaaand back in the bag you go.
Why I decided on the oh-so-unflattering side view is beyond me but whatevs. Here is the patterned top from Brave Soul.
Thought #1 – I love the black and white with a touch of electric orange.
Thought #2 – Although I can understand how people like this style, personally, it’s just not for me.
Even the camera thought this quilted, yellow top was gosh-awful since it wouldn’t even focus on it.
Thought #1 – Did someone order a triple XL marshmallow peep?
Thought #2 – No, really, did someone order a triple XL marshmallow peep?
I literally couldn’t even….
Fashion to Figure….YOU DID IT! You managed to be the only item in my box that I decided to keep!!!!
Thought #1 – I feel like a sexy, magician’s assistant. And I don’t hate it!
Thought #2 – I’ve trained myself well. The item I liked the most was also the least expensive!
And there you have it folks, my first Dia & Co. experience. I left detailed feedback for my stylist and I look forward to seeing what goodies arrive next month.
Don’t worry, you know I’ll be sharing the good, bad and ugly with my beautiful readers!!!
You picked the perfect one!! However the maroon dress one size smaller or some alteration was stunning on you!! This is such an awesome idea!

“It takes effort to look like this”, from our big haired (and other areas not mentioned) friend, Dolly (Steel Magnolias). What a fun experiment!
