Remember in Legally Blonde when Elle Woods speaks at graduation? She ends her speech with an enthusiastic (if not somewhat shrill) “we did it”!

Well, that’s how I felt Saturday night when I finally ventured out in my pink, lace body con dress.

No, it’s not exactly on par with graduating from law school but none the less, I was really proud of myself for finally having the nerve to wear it.

I DID IT!

In the interest of honesty, I will tell you that I had some help. I would like to thank my friend, Spanx, for giving me the courage (and slightly flatter tummy) to wear this dress.

I’m thinking I’ll definitely be wearing this one again. Maybe when the weather is cooler I can dress it up with a moto jacket and tall, black boots!!!!
